I know we’re already a few months into the new year. Some people are right on track with their 2015 goals, while the majority of us gave up on ours. For me, every year it’s the same old story. I decided a few years back that I wasn’t going to make resolutions anymore… but I was going to start making small, attainable goals that would help to accomplish a bigger goal. But what I quickly realized was that it doesn’t matter what you call it, goals or resolutions, you can still end up abandoning them after a few short weeks.
This year I didn’t even bother. I started 2015 off with no goals. No checklist. No scribbles of random ideas. Nothing. The truth is, I had been burned out trying to do too much all at once. A lot happened last year that left me completely drained and I couldn’t even find a creative spark. Because of that, I completely neglected this blog… as well as this project as a whole.
The other day I was just entertaining a few thoughts in my head about dreams. What is my dream? What is it that I am passionate about? I started listing all the ways I can better myself and chase after my dreams and decided to do 3 series for Spring.
Three key words came to my mind — be, stay, and go. In order to chase after our dreams there are things that we need allow ourselves to be in order to achieve them. There are seasons and lessons in our lives that we need to remind ourselves to stay in. And then we need to go and do something to chase after said dreams.
So if you have a dream, if you want to make a difference in your world… then this series is for you!
