2015 Reading List – May

I absolutely LOVE books. And I love BUYING books!!! However, I have one major dilemma. I keep buying more books than I actually read. Like seriously, y’all have no idea. I have piles of books around my room that are just waiting to be cracked open. So I’ve decided to try something new. Each month, I’m going to have a ‘reading list.’ This is where I’ll choose 2-3 books that I want to finish by the end of the month. And by posting them here, I am making myself accountable to you. 🙂

When I “don’t feel like it.”

In our last post, we got into the subject of priorities and how we tend to make excuses to not do things because we’re “too busy.” I was recently talking the blog over with a friend and they made a really good observation that I wanted to share with you ladies this week.

How is it that we’re never to busy to do the things that we actually want to do?

Summer is quickly coming to an end and schools are opening again. A time of football games, exams, homework, projects, band practice… With all this hustle and bustle we can quickly be consumed by the everyday demands of life. It’s easy to forget all the great things that happened during summer break. It’s easy to forget that commitment you made to God at your youth camp.
