When I “don’t feel like it.”

In our last post, we got into the subject of priorities and how we tend to make excuses to not do things because we’re “too busy.” I was recently talking the blog over with a friend and they made a really good observation that I wanted to share with you ladies this week.

How is it that we’re never to busy to do the things that we actually want to do?

Have you ever noticed that when you want to do something, you’ll make the time for it? I don’t know about you, but usually when I don’t want to make the time to do something, it’s not ALWAYS because I’m too busy. Sometimes, I just don’t feel like it. Continue reading

The Three P’s!

In today’s society, I feel like there’s so much pressure on women. There’s pressure on how to act, how to dress, how to look, how to be a better mom, how to be a better wife, how to be a better…. you fill in the blank. I know so many women who are stressed daily with all the different demands of life calling out to them all at once. It’s easy to get caught up in it all and lose your focus. Here’s what I have to say to you: Continue reading

I Needed You

A Note from Amber: I know the following poem may be a little depressing..but we really need to consider who is watching us and looking to us as examples. I understand that we are all human and we make mistakes, but please please remember: There is always someone watching you. Someone will pattern their life after yours. What kind of example do you want to set? Continue reading

The Gears of Life

My first bike had one gear. Whether I was going fast or slow, uphill or downhill, that gear did everything. My next bike had three gears: one for level surfaces, one for going uphill, and one for going downhill. My third bike had ten gears, allowing me an even broader range of choices. Even though my last bike had several gears to choose from, I didn’t use all of them every time I rode. Some were best suited for starting and climbing, others were reserved for gaining speed, and others were best for a leisurely pace. But the thing about gears is this: Even though I wasn’t using all of them at the time, it didn’t mean I would never need them. Continue reading

Welcome!!

Hello girls! Welcome to the launch of our brand new website! We are SO excited about what God is doing here at That Christian Girl. God placed this dream on my heart early in October 2012. Within a few days of answering that call, God blessed me with a few other girls who had the same passion and desire as I do. Between texting and facebook, we had compiled a list of some amazing ideas for TCG! I am so excited to share them with you!!

Let me just say that this dream isn’t about me. It’s for ALL of us. It’s about us going through life together.

I pray that this project inspires you, encourages you, makes you laugh, makes you cry, and spreads some joy on your day.

Be blessed Christian Girl!

Much love,
Kristina and the TCG team<3
